DAY ONE-DAY FOUR: THE CANADIAN (TORONTO TO JASPER)

Tour Canada's most breathtaking expanses in a voyage from Ontario to Alberta. Take in boreal forests reflecting on the surface of the Great Lakes. Prairie sunsets painting vast skies in shades of fire. Mountain peaks towering above as the train winds through the Rockies.

DAY SIX: JASPER - BANFF

This morning, enjoy a full day journey by luxury motor coach from Jasper to Banff.
Built in 1940, the famous Icefields Parkway links Jasper and Banff National Parks along one of Canada's highest mountain roadways. Climbing from the low valleys to nearly treeline, experience three life zones, the montane, the subalpine and the alpine. Along the way we stop at major viewpoints of Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. At the Icefields Centre you have time to visit the gift shop, the Glacier Gallery or snack at the restaurant, and ride on an Ice Explorer. On your way to Banff, experience the breathtaking waters of Lake Louise and the dominate Victoria Glacier.

DAY SEVEN: BANFF

Today is at leisure to explore Banff.
Admission is included for the Banff Gondola. The adventure begins with an eight minute journey to the summit of Sulphur Mountain in a modern, fully-enclosed four passenger gondola cabin. The views become increasingly spectacular as you climb 698m (2,292 ft) to an elevation of 2,281m (7,486 ft) at the Summit Upper Terminal - the departure point for a mountaintop of activities.

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops. Highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.
Overnight in Kamloops.

DAY TEN: ROCKY MOUNTAINEER (KAMLOOPS TO VANCOUVER)

Your journey continues west towards the coastal city of Vancouver. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon.
Transfer from Vancouver train station to your hotel.

DAY ELEVEN: VANCOUVER

This morning, enjoy a guided city tour of Vancouver by bus. The tour is your best choice to get an orientation of this west coast city gem. Friendly guides encourage your questions and take pride in helping you, and your family, get the best experience from your time visiting beautiful British Columbia. Highlights include Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street and stops at Stanley Park and Granville Island. The afternoon is at leisure.

Special Touches

The cordial, courteous personnel are always at your service. As a passenger in Sleeper Plus Class, you are entitled to some special touches such as a shower kit (towel, shampoo, hair conditioner and soap) and checked baggage. In Toronto, Jasper and Vancouver, you enjoy not only priority boarding, but also a special "Welcome Aboard!" reception with hot appetizers and sparkling wine.

Cabin

The cabin provides an entirely private, onboard haven of peace and quiet. Each cabin features two armchairs, a small closet, fan, electrical outlet, private washroom, sink and mirror. A small table can even be set up for you upon request. The door locks from the inside and the shower is only a few metres down the hall. By night, the two armchairs collapse to make way for two comfortable bunks, one upper and one lower.
