DAY ONE: VANCOUVER

Upon arrival in Vancouver, you will be met at Vancouver Airport for the private transfer to your hotel.

DAY THREE: VANCOUVER - KAMLOOPS

This morning, you will be met at your hotel for the transfer to the train station.
Your excursion begins at the Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver Station when you board the world famous train. Continue through the rich agricultural lands of the Fraser Valley and have your breath taken away by the magnificent Coast Mountains before entering the Fraser Canyon. Along the way you will see the powerful waters of Hell’s Gate and follow the path pf the Thompson River to Kamloops, gateway to the Interior of British Columbia.
Overnight in Kamloops.

DAY FOUR: KAMLOOPS - JASPER

Rejoin the Rocky Mountaineer and follow the Canada railway and the Thompson River through rolling hills into the snowy peaks of the Monashee Mountains. View Pyramid Falls and the expansive glaciers of the Albreda Icefields before passing by Mount Robson, which at 12,972 feet is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. In late afternoon, arrive in Jasper, located in the largest national park in The Canadian Rockies.

DAY FIVE: JASPER

This morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Jasper including a visit to Maligne Lake. Maligne Valley exhibits natural wonders including a disappearing lake and the most extensive system of karst topography in the world (limestone with sinkholes, underground streams and caverns). These stories are tied together through the early natives, explorers and adventurers who opened up this area of the Canadian Rockies.
From June 1 to September 30, the day is completed with a ninety minute cruise to the world famous Spirit Island.

DAY SIX: JASPER - BANFF

Built in 1940, the famous Icefields Parkway links Jasper and Banff National Parks along one of Canada's highest mountain roadways. Climbing from the low valleys to nearly treeline, experience three life zones, the montane, the subalpine and the alpine. Along the way we stop at major viewpoints of Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. At the Icefields Centre you have time to visit the giftshop, the Glacier Gallery or snack at the restaurant, and ride on a Brewster Ice Explorer. On your way to Banff, experience the breathtaking waters of Lake Louise and the dominate Victoria Glacier.

DAY SEVEN: BANFF

Today is a full day at leisure to explore Banff. Admission to the spectacular Banff Gondola is included.
