This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Montreal by bus, taking in many points of interest, including a photo stop at the Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory, residential and financial districts, Old Montreal, French Quarter, outside view of the Olympic site, McGill University and a panoramic view of the city from an observation point on top of Mt. Royal. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Montreal on your own. We recommend a stroll down Sainte-Catherine Street, the heartbeat of the city and home to many of Montreal's prominent department stores, outstanding restaurants and cafes or a visit to the Musée D`Art Contemporain de Montreal, a contemporary art museum in the Place des Arts complex with a collection that includes over 7,000 works of art by more than 1,500 artists. Perhaps a stop at the world famous Schwartz`s Delicatessen on Saint Laurent Boulevard, home of the original Montreal smoked meat sandwich.
