DAY ONE: QUEBEC CITY
Upon arrival in Quebec City, you'll be met by one of our friendly drivers at Quebec City Airport for the private transfer to your hotel located in the heart of Old Quebec. This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Montreal by bus, taking in many points of interest, including a photo stop at the Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory, residential and financial districts, Old Montreal, French Quarter, outside view of the Olympic site, McGill University and a panoramic view of the city from an observation point on top of Mt. Royal.
The afternoon is at leisure to explore Montreal on your own. We recommend a stroll down Sainte-Catherine Street, the heartbeat of the city and home to many of Montreal's prominent department stores, outstanding restaurants and cafes or a visit to the Musée D`Art Contemporain de Montreal, a contemporary art museum in the Place des Arts complex with a collection that includes over 7,000 works of art by more than 1,500 artists. Perhaps a stop at the world famous Schwartz`s Delicatessen on Saint Laurent Boulevard, home of the original Montreal smoked meat sandwich.
